AMD continues to push the boundaries of integrated graphics technology with the upcoming Radeon 8060S and 8050S GPUs, which are part of the Ryzen AI Max 300 series. Recent PassMark benchmarks have unveiled competitive performance, positioning these GPUs alongside mid-range options such as the RX 7600 and RTX 3060.

The Radeon 8060S features 40 Compute Units (CUs), while the 8050S includes 32 CUs. Intriguingly, the 8050S scored higher than the 8060S in the 3D graphics PassMark test, though the reasons for this anomaly remain unclear.

According to PassMark data, the GPUs are paired with AMD’s Maple-STHX platform and utilize Zen 5 architecture alongside RDNA 3.5 graphics technology. While initial tests show slightly lower performance compared to the RX 7600, the 8060S and 8050S demonstrate impressive competitiveness against certain mid-range GPUs.

AMD is set to officially unveil the Ryzen AI Max 300 series at CES 2025 in just two weeks. More details about the series are anticipated, likely reinforcing AMD’s leadership in integrated graphics solutions.
