The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia has announced that citizens eligible for income tax refunds can begin submitting their applications starting January 15, 2025. This temporary delay is due to the implementation of a new Personal Account Card system for tax obligation management, which will be operational from December 31, 2024, to January 15, 2025.
During this period, the Individual Account Information Portal of the SRC will be temporarily unavailable. As a result, individuals will not be able to submit income tax refund applications related to mortgage loans.
The SRC has also noted that access to certain informational systems of the Committee will be limited during the upgrade process.
These measures are aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the tax system and improving the convenience of services provided to citizens. The SRC advises individuals to plan accordingly and adjust their application timelines based on this schedule.
