Multinational military exercises organized by NATO have begun in Tbilisi, Georgia. Military personnel from 17 different countries are participating in these drills, including officers from Armenia. The exercises commenced on Monday.

The drills involve military representatives from a wide range of nations. Among the participating countries mentioned are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, member states of the European Union, and Tunisia. In total, military personnel from 17 countries are taking part.

Purpose of the Drills

According to an announcement from Georgia’s Ministry of Defense, the primary objective of these exercises is “to prepare a multinational unit at the brigade level under Georgian leadership, carrying out planning and crisis operations.”
