Performance and the Heart of Joy Computing
At the center of the i3’s driving dynamics is a new high-performance computing system dubbed Heart of Joy. This central brain coordinates the vehicle’s powertrain and chassis systems with responsiveness reportedly ten times faster than previous generations. The 50 xDrive configuration features twin electric motors providing 469 horsepower and 645 Newton-meters of torque.
