The home side finally put the match to bed deep into stoppage time when Marcus Thuram struck a clinical finish past Reina to double the lead. The victory lifts Inter Milan to 37 points after 16 games, keeping them in third place, just three points behind league leaders Atalanta and one point shy of Napoli in second.
