CACHOEIRO DE ITAPEMIRIM (Azat TV) – DP World, a global leader in supply chain solutions, has significantly expanded its contract logistics footprint in Brazil by securing a five-year agreement with Suzano, one of the world’s largest pulp and paper producers. The landmark deal, announced in early 2026, positions DP World to manage critical warehouse and production line supply operations at a nearly 5,000 square meter facility embedded within Suzano’s Consumer and Tissue division manufacturing plant in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Espírito Santo.
This agreement, which became operational in February, underscores DP World’s strategic push to integrate port operations with inland logistics, enhancing efficiency for major industrial clients. The expansion reinforces the company’s commitment to strengthening global supply chains through comprehensive, end-to-end solutions, directly impacting the movement of essential goods across vast consumer markets in Brazil.
DP World Strengthens Integrated Logistics in Brazil
Under the terms of the new five-year contract, DP World’s scope of work at the Suzano facility is extensive, covering key aspects of the supply chain from inbound receiving to outbound distribution. This includes meticulous inventory management, ensuring a seamless flow of materials to the production line, and efficient distribution of finished tissue products such as toilet paper, napkins, and paper towels. The facility is designed to support a daily production of approximately 19,000 bales, with an inbound handling capacity of up to 152 tonnes per day and an outbound distribution capacity of 128 tonnes per day.
This integrated approach is crucial for Suzano, as the facility serves consumer markets across major Brazilian states including Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and the Central-West region.
