In its November 7 session, the Armenian government approved a new order for issuing permits for trade activities in customs control zones. The new regulation establishes requirements for businesses involved in duty-free trade.
According to the amendment, commercial activities in customs zones can only be conducted with permission from customs authorities, and permits will be issued based on a competitive process. Winning participants will sign lease agreements for the specified customs-controlled area.
The regulations aim to promote stable development in customs zones, ensuring a fair and transparent competition process.
Thus, trade activities within customs control zones are now permitted under strict compliance with the new standards.
