Arbaiza Rios, originally from El Salvador and currently based in the United States, has worked in artist development and music production since 2020. According to the company, his new role will focus on creative direction, talent development and strategic partnerships while overseeing the establishment of FONO’s Texas hub.

FONO said the expansion is intended to strengthen cross-market collaboration between U.S. and Latin artists, with Texas identified as a growing centre for music production and talent discovery.

Industry Background

Before joining FONO, Arbaiza Rios founded Equis Production, an independent label focused on artist development and creative management. During his tenure, the company produced more than 150 original songs and collaborated with music distribution and production partners including ONErpm and CING.

He has also worked on collaborative projects involving artists such as El Bai, Chimbala, Ángel Dior, Bulova, El Taiger, Omy De Oro and Little Homie. In 2021, he entered an exclusive agreement with ONErpm, where he oversaw artist projects across Colombia and Italy.

FONO said the appointment reflects its broader strategy to expand its presence in the Latin and U.S. music industries while investing in long-term artist growth.
