Chief of the General Staff Issues Directives to Strengthen the Combat Readiness of the Armed Forces

On January 22, a meeting of the Ministry of Defense Collegium was held under the leadership of Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan, First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces. The meeting focused on reviewing the combat readiness, operational efficiency, troop management, and morale of the Armenian Armed Forces in the 2024 training year, as well as setting priorities for 2025.

Lieutenant General Asryan presented a detailed analysis of the work carried out within the Armed Forces and outlined key priorities for the upcoming year. He issued directives to responsible units aimed at strengthening the combat readiness of the Armed Forces and improving the efficiency of military service.

At the conclusion of the meeting, commanders of units that demonstrated the best performance during the 2024 training year were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts in recognition of their achievements.
