Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has launched large-scale anti-terrorism exercises in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan. The exercises are taking place in realistic combat scenarios involving forces from the “Quds” base.
Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour announced that the exercises, initially scheduled for later, were moved up following an attack on Iranian security forces. According to General Ahmad Shafaei, several terrorist cells have already been neutralized, with multiple arrests.
