Mirzoyan-Rousopoulos Meeting Focuses on Armenia’s Reform Progress
During a meeting with Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) President Theodoros Rousopoulos, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan reviewed the positive progress stemming from democratic reforms undertaken in Armenia. According to Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both sides expressed satisfaction with the trajectory of cooperation between Armenia and the Council of Europe.
Democratic Values and European Cooperation in Focus
The two officials highlighted the importance of upholding democratic values under current global conditions. Mirzoyan conveyed Armenia’s appreciation for the principled stances taken by PACE and other Council of Europe bodies on issues relevant to Armenia.
