Netherlands Ambassador to Armenia, Marieke Monroy Winter, visited the office of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMA) in Armenia, according to a post shared on the mission’s official X account.
“It was an honor to host Netherlands Ambassador Marieke Monroy Winter at the EUMA office in Armenia. She was briefed on the mission’s activities on the ground, met with the Dutch personnel, and joined a patrol group in the Khachik village area. Currently, there are seven Dutch experts working as part of the EU Monitoring Mission,” the statement read.
The ambassador’s participation highlights the Netherlands’ commitment to supporting the EU’s efforts in ensuring stability and peace along Armenia’s borders through close monitoring and cooperation.
