The Competition Protection Commission of Armenia (CPC) has initiated investigations into several entities operating in the online gambling and lottery sector. The inquiries aim to uncover cases of unfair competition and public deception related to the unsolicited distribution of advertising messages to both users and non-users.
The CPC specifically addresses citizens who are not users of GOODWIN, ADJARABET, VBET, and TOTOGAMING platforms but receive advertising messages about online gambling and lotteries. These messages are often delivered through SMS, Viber, WhatsApp, email, and other channels.
The Commission encourages affected individuals to report such instances by contacting the CPC, assuring that the confidentiality of the information provided will be fully protected.
This initiative seeks to ensure a fair competitive environment and prevent unethical market practices that could negatively impact the public.
