During its November 7 session, the government allocated an additional 7.3 million AMD to support parents of deceased and missing military personnel with surrogate mother services and egg donor expenses. The program aims to alleviate the financial burden of healthcare services for these parents.
From the total 67.86 million AMD allocated for this program in 2024, 55.61 million AMD has already been spent, leaving a balance of 12.25 million AMD. Currently, 10 beneficiaries are using surrogate mother services, and two births are expected by November. The government plans to include three new beneficiaries in the program by the end of the year.
