Armenia Approves STARLINK Licenses, Ushering in a New Era of Connectivity

In a groundbreaking development for Armenia’s digital landscape, two pivotal STARLINK applications have been officially approved by the Republic of Armenia. These include a license to operate a public electronic communication network and another to use radio frequency bands on a secondary basis for global satellite communication systems.

With these licenses secured, the next phase involves rigorous testing, which is expected to be successfully completed in the coming months. This milestone positions Armenia as a frontrunner in embracing advanced satellite connectivity solutions, potentially revolutionizing its digital infrastructure and unlocking innovative opportunities across various sectors.

This achievement is the result of collaborative efforts by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia and the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC).
