The EU’s anti-fraud bureau OLAF has launched an investigation into oil rebranding schemes in Turkey that allow Russian oil to be imported into the EU under a different label. According to Politico, Russian fuel rebranded in Turkey enters the EU in violation of sanctions.
The scheme reportedly brought Moscow approximately 3 billion euros in revenue over 12 months.
