Beyoncé has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the “country” category
Sources told The Hollywood Reporter that the 43-year-old performer of Texas Hold’Em applied for this genre award earlier this year after the release of her new album.
The application was received after the superstar did not receive an award in any category at the CMA Awards. She also remained without a win in 12 categories at the People’s Choice Country Awards held last week.
Beyoncé, who has won 32 Grammys out of 88 categories throughout her career, has never received a nomination in the “country” category.
