$100 Million Investment in Tourism and Regional Infrastructure Development Program

On December 12, Armenia’s Minister of Economy held a meeting with the Head of the World Bank’s Armenia Office, Carolyn Geginat, and Senior Disaster Risk Management Specialist Tafadzwa Dube. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister and Chair of the Tourism Committee.

The discussion focused on the progress of the Tourism and Regional Infrastructure Development Project (TRIP), which envisions a $100 million investment.

The participants reviewed the results of the work completed under the program, the roadmap, and the action plan. They also outlined future steps to ensure the effective and consistent implementation of the project.

This initiative aims to improve tourism and regional infrastructure, contributing to Armenia’s economic growth and the sustainable development of its regions.
