Barcelona has announced its squad for Sunday’s La Liga clash against Leganes (21:00 CET), but German coach Hansi Flick will be without Ansu Fati, who has not been medically cleared to play.
Fati, who suffered a femoral biceps injury a month ago, had been training all week and was expected to make the squad. However, the medical team has decided against his inclusion.
Defender Andreas Christensen is also missing from the squad. Both players join long-term absentees Marc-André ter Stegen and Marc Bernal, who are sidelined for the remainder of the season due to injuries.
Despite these absences, Barcelona remains focused on maintaining their momentum as they approach Matchday 17.
Barcelona’s squad for the match:
Cubarsi, Balde, Araujo, Inigo Martínez, Gavi, Ferran, Pedri, Lewandowski, Raphinha, Inaki Pena, Pablo Torre, Fermín, Casado, Pau Víctor, Lamine Yamal, Olmo, De Jong, Kounde, Eric Garcia, Szczesny, Astralaga, Fort, Hector Martín.
Barcelona will look to secure a crucial win in Leganes as they navigate a challenging phase with several key players unavailable.
