Alibaba Group continues to strengthen its position in the global B2B e-commerce sector by introducing innovative solutions and services aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Alibaba.com, a vital part of Alibaba’s global B2B platform, launched its Logistics Marketplace in April 2024, which aims to streamline the supply chains of US SMEs by providing access to affordable and customized logistics services. This platform connects buyers with pre-vetted logistics service providers and offers solutions tailored to specific logistics needs.

Later, in June, Alibaba.com launched the Alibaba Guaranteed service, which aims to simplify global sourcing. This service offers fixed prices, including shipping, ensures dispatch within 72 hours, and guarantees delivery by the expected date. It also provides after-sales services such as quick refunds for order issues and free local returns for defects.

Alibaba is also actively involved in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). In November 2024, it was announced that Alibaba International’s AI-powered B2B search engine, Accio, has reached 500,000 SME users since its launch. And in December, the ‘Pic Copilot’ AI-powered e-commerce design tool was launched, which helps SMEs in image editing, virtual try-ons, and ad creation.

Alibaba’s innovative approaches and SME-focused services contribute to the development of global trade and make it more accessible to small and medium-sized businesses. The company continues to invest in the development of technologies and services, aiming to support SMEs in expanding their operations.
