The Yerevan Municipality has announced that the unveiling ceremony of the statue of renowned artist and chanson legend Charles Aznavour is scheduled for May 22, 2025. This date marks the culmination of celebrations dedicated to Aznavour’s 100th birth anniversary.
The agreement for the statue’s creation has already been signed, and funding was allocated through the 2024 budget. The preparation and installation work will continue throughout 2025, ensuring the timely completion of the project.
The unveiling ceremony will serve as a significant tribute to Aznavour, honoring his immense contributions to global culture and cementing his legacy as one of the world’s greatest artists.
