The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia has announced a grant competition aimed at supporting educational and cultural institutions in the Armenian diaspora. This initiative seeks to strengthen Armenian identity preservation abroad and promote educational and cultural projects that contribute to maintaining Armenian heritage. According to the MESCS announcement, the grant will provide financial assistance to educational institutions planning to implement cultural and academic publishing projects.
Applications for the competition must be submitted through Armenia’s diplomatic missions abroad within the designated deadlines. The evaluation process will be carried out by a special committee appointed by the Minister, which will select the final recipients based on the quality and significance of the proposed projects.
The grants will be allocated in the following categories:
- Educational and cultural events
- Educational and cultural courses
- Publication of Armenian studies-related educational materials
The deadline for application submission is February 17, 2025, and the results will be announced on February 24.
