The seismic event occurred at 01:11 AM (December 28, 21:11 GMT) at coordinates 41.36° N latitude and 44.15° E longitude, approximately 6 kilometers northwest of Dmanisi. The earthquake’s epicenter was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, according to Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs Seismic Protection Territorial Service.

In the epicentral zone, the intensity of the tremors reached 4-5 points on the seismic intensity scale. The earthquake was also felt in Armenia’s Lori Province, specifically in the villages of Metsavan and Sarchapet, where tremors were recorded at an intensity of 3 points.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation, ensuring that any potential aftershocks or related seismic activity are tracked closely. No significant damage or injuries have been reported.
