The European Union Monitoring Mission in Armenia (EUMM Armenia) recently welcomed the Ambassador of Finland to the Republic of Armenia, Kristi Narinen, to its headquarters. The visit was announced by EUMM Armenia via a post on their official X microblog on April 29, 2025.

Details of the Visit

According to the post shared by the monitoring mission, it was considered “an honor to host” Ambassador Kristi Narinen. The purpose of the visit was to provide the Finnish Ambassador with a brief presentation outlining the mission’s current tasks, ongoing activities, and recent developments.

Finland’s Contribution to EUMM Armenia

The EUMM Armenia’s communication also highlighted Finland’s direct involvement and support for the mission. Finland is identified as a participating country within the European Union Monitoring Mission in Armenia. As part of its contribution, Finland has seconded seven Finnish experts who serve within the ranks of the monitoring mission currently deployed in Armenia.
