Family Expansion
Hallmark Channel stars Julie Gonzalo, 44, and Chris McNally, 37, have officially expanded their family. The couple confirmed on June 24, 2026, that they have welcomed their second child, a baby girl.
In a statement provided to People, the actors shared that the transition to a family of four has brought both joy and new challenges. “Our first few weeks were a bit of a blur,” the couple noted. “Going from one child to two has changed the rhythm of our household and required a new level of time management. Though despite the juggling act and a few expected and unexpected bumps along the way, we are slowly finding our new rhythm.”
A Longtime Hallmark Partnership
The couple first met in 2017 while filming the Hallmark movie The Sweetest Heart. They married in 2018 and welcomed their first child in June 2022. McNally first publicly shared the news of the pregnancy during the Hallmark Christmas Experience in December 2025.
Beyond their frequent collaborations on the Hallmark Channel, both actors maintain extensive resumes. Gonzalo is widely recognized for her roles in A Cinderella Story, Freaky Friday, Christmas with the Kranks, and the television series Dallas. McNally, a Canadian-born actor, gained early critical notice for his 2013 role in John Apple Jack and has since become a staple of the network’s romantic programming.
