Bollywood icon Madhuri Dixit has expanded her business footprint in Mumbai, securing a five-year lease for a premium commercial property in the heart of the city’s financial hub. According to property registration documents, the actress finalized the deal in March 2026 for a 731-square-foot unit located at the prestigious One Lodha Place in Lower Parel.
Expanding Business Presence in Lower Parel
The financial commitment for the 60-month lease totals Rs 2.81 crore. The agreement includes a graduated rental structure, beginning at Rs 4.25 lakh per month for the first year. The lease terms stipulate a 5% annual increase, pushing the monthly rent to Rs 5.16 lakh by the fifth year. In addition to the base rent, the transaction involved a security deposit of Rs 17 lakh, along with associated stamp duty and registration fees.
Lower Parel remains a high-demand district for commercial and residential investment, known for its evolution from an industrial zone into a premier urban center. The property also includes dedicated car parking, underscoring the shift toward high-end, integrated mixed-use developments that attract prominent industry figures.
Professional Commitments and Regional Safety
The real estate move coincides with a busy professional period for the actress. Recently, fellow actor and Lok Sabha MP Ravi Kishan highlighted Dixit’s recent work in Uttar Pradesh, where she completed a three-day shoot in Gorakhpur. During a public event, Kishan addressed industry perceptions regarding safety in the region, noting that Dixit’s successful and secure stay served as a positive example for other artists who had previously been hesitant to film in the state.
Dixit is currently preparing for the release of the upcoming Netflix film Maa Behen, directed by Suresh Triveni. The dark comedy, which also features Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durga, follows her recent appearances in projects like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and the Disney+ Hotstar series Mrs Deshpande. While the film’s release date remains unannounced, her current commercial investment signals a long-term commitment to maintaining a robust operational base in Mumbai.
The scale of this lease agreement reflects a broader trend among A-list talent in Mumbai to consolidate professional operations within high-security, ultra-modern commercial complexes that offer both prestige and logistical convenience.
