The Police of the Republic of Armenia (RA) has announced recruitment for positions in the State Protection Department to fill vacancies in its newly formed division. This opportunity is open to current and former employees of the RA Police and eligible citizens with the required qualifications.
Eligibility Criteria
For Middle-Rank Positions:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a higher education degree.
- Have completed mandatory military service (excluding female citizens and cases of exemption as per the law on “Military Service and Servicemen’s Status”).
- Be aged between 18-35 and have a minimum height of 155 cm.
- Demonstrate the personal qualities, health condition, and physical readiness required for police service.
For Junior-Rank Positions:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold at least a secondary education diploma.
- Have completed mandatory military service.
- Be male citizens aged 18-35 with a minimum height of 155 cm.
- Meet the personal, health, and physical readiness standards required for police service.

A total of 60 positions are open, distributed as follows:
- 27 in Yerevan,
- 3 in Shirak,
- 3 in Lori,
- 3 in Tavush,
- 3 in Aragatsotn,
- 3 in Kotayk,
- 3 in Gegharkunik,
- 3 in Armavir,
- 3 in Ararat,
- 3 in Vayots Dzor,
- 6 in Syunik.
How to Apply
Applications will be accepted starting December 1, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the State Protection Department of the RA Police (1/1 M. Sargsyan Street, Yerevan). Applications will not be accepted on weekends.
