The Police Troops of Armenia have concluded the final and supervisory inspections of subordinate units for the 2024 training year, which began on November 13. These inspections were aimed at evaluating the units’ combat readiness, identifying shortcomings, and implementing improvements.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Major General Hayk Babayan, Commander of the Police Troops and Deputy Chief of Police, highlighted the significance of the inspections during his address to the personnel. He emphasized the importance of conducting these evaluations in a thorough and organized manner to assess progress, uncover deficiencies, and make necessary corrections.
The inspection commission assessed various aspects of the units’ readiness, including combat preparedness, firearms training, legal and ideological preparedness, public-state relations, tactical-professional skills, tactical training, physical fitness, communication readiness, and adherence to general military regulations.
The results of these inspections summarized the operational and combat performance of the Police Troops in 2024. Based on the findings, specific tasks were assigned to ensure that the next training phase is launched and conducted with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
