According to Azat.TV The Israeli Defense Forces operation has resulted in the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. This was announced by Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz.
According to Sky News Arabia, Sinwar was killed in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip.
