New System to Streamline Visa Interviews and Document Submissions
The US Embassy in Yerevan has announced a major change to its visa appointment procedures. Starting May 30, 2025, all scheduling of interviews and submission of required documents for both immigrant and non-immigrant visa applications will be handled through a new online platform.
Current System to Be Discontinued on May 18
According to the official announcement, the Embassy’s current scheduling system will cease operation on May 18. After that date, the website will be accessible only in read-only mode. Users will no longer be able to book appointments, authorize courier services, submit no-show notifications, or request earlier interview dates through the current system.
Important Deadlines for Existing Users
The final date for obtaining and paying the deposit slip through the existing platform is May 14. Applicants who already have scheduled appointments can proceed as planned and appear at the embassy on their assigned date and time.
Transitioning to the New Platform
Applicants who need appointments after May 30 are encouraged to either schedule now or migrate their accounts to the upcoming system. The embassy noted that further instructions regarding payment and scheduling on the new platform will be released soon.
