Accrington Stanley have officially unveiled their fixture schedule for the 2026/27 EFL League Two season, with manager John Doolan’s side set to kick off their campaign at the Wham Stadium against Colchester United on August 15. The Reds will be looking to secure an early victory, aiming to improve upon their start to the previous season.

Following the opener, the team faces a challenging travel schedule, beginning with a trip to face recently relegated Exeter City, followed by an away encounter against Walsall. September is expected to be a pivotal month for the club, featuring six league fixtures, including home matches against Grimsby Town, Crawley Town, and Newport County.

The season calendar includes several high-stakes periods, particularly in the autumn. In October, Stanley will face back-to-back challenges against newly promoted sides, traveling to York City on October 20 before hosting Rochdale on October 24. November brings further tests, including a visit to Port Vale and a local Lancashire derby against Fleetwood Town.

The club’s festive period remains a highlight for supporters, with a Boxing Day trip to Tranmere Rovers followed by a home clash against Rotherham United on December 29. As the season progresses into its final phase, the squad faces a demanding April schedule, including fixtures against Rotherham United, Bristol Rovers, and Swindon Town. The 2026/27 campaign will conclude on May 2 with an away trip to Crewe Alexandra.
