Spurs’ sporting director Johan Lange emphasized that the acquisition is driven by the need for proven winners. Robertson, who made 378 appearances for Liverpool, brings a resume that includes two Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy. His presence is expected to provide essential competition for Destiny Udogie at left-back while anchoring a dressing room that struggled with consistency throughout the previous term.
