Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim and NFL pass rusher Myles Garrett confirmed their relationship on Wednesday night at the 2026 ESPY Awards in New York City. The couple made a high-profile public appearance, walking the red carpet together before sharing an on-stage kiss during the ceremony at Lincoln Center.
The moment occurred when Kim took the stage to present Garrett with the ESPY Award for Best Record-Breaking Performance. Garrett, who recently joined the Los Angeles Rams following a trade in June, earned the honor for his record-setting 23-sack season with the Cleveland Browns in 2025.
“Thank you, babe, for keeping a secret like that because you definitely knew,” Garrett said during his acceptance speech, acknowledging Kim. “Most of all this is an honor, and I’ve got a lot of catching up to do with this woman behind me.”
The couple’s appearance at the ESPYs follows a period of mutual support in their respective athletic careers. Garrett famously traveled to Italy earlier this year to support Kim during the 2026 Winter Olympics, where she secured a silver medal in the halfpipe despite competing with a torn labrum. Both athletes are considered among the most prominent figures in their respective sports, with Kim holding five ESPY awards of her own.
