Players can anticipate exciting crossovers, the return of a beloved fan-favorite character, and the introduction of dual-wielding firearms. Adding to the whimsical nature, anthropomorphic pickles and hotdogs will also feature.
Midas Returns, Mortal Kombat Crossover: Key Characters of Season 2
Midas, a prominent figure from Chapter 2, Season 2, makes a comeback as part of the new “Lawless” Battle Pass. The new season appears to draw heavily from the themes of Midas’s debut season. While the previous season was spy-centric, “Lawless” leans into a crime-oriented narrative. “Run amok in Crime City – gold vaults, Rocket Drills, and so much mayhem,” Fortnite announced on Twitter. Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat is another notable skin coming to the “Lawless” Battle Pass. Players can expect Mortal Kombat-themed abilities within the game, alongside other iconic characters from the classic fighting franchise.
New Map Locations and Arsenal Enhancements: Gameplay Innovations
New Points of Interest (POIs) include Crime City, areas with melting snow, the Turret Train, and other yet-to-be-revealed locations. The weapon roster expands with an unannounced shotgun and the Mammoth Pistol, potentially including a Mythic variant for Midas. The Rocket Ram also makes a return, reimagined as a Rocket Drill. Beyond these highlights, Season 2 promises a wealth of discoveries upon its launch, including the new Victory Umbrella and Battle Pass rewards.
