Hilary Duff’s professional momentum shows no signs of slowing down this summer. As reported by Page Six, the singer and actress has been tapped to perform the title track for the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures Animation feature, The Cat in the Hat. The song, titled “Catastrophe,” is set to accompany the film’s theatrical release on November 6.
The adaptation of the classic Dr. Seuss tale features Bill Hader in the lead role, supported by a star-studded cast including Quinta Brunson, Giancarlo Esposito, and America Ferrera. The project is a cornerstone of Warner Bros.’ developing “Seussiverse” franchise.
This musical contribution arrives during a significant career resurgence for Duff. Following the February 2026 release of her critically acclaimed album Luck…or Something—her first in over a decade—Duff has maintained a high public profile. Her recent activities include a successful concert run, a feature in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, and a new brand partnership with Bath & Body Works. The latter launched on July 8 with a high-exposure campaign video promoting the brand’s Fruit Fusion range, further cementing her current status as a multi-industry brand force.
