Lebanese army units have opened fire on Israeli units carrying out a ground attack in the south of the country. This was announced by the Lebanese Armed Forces, noting that this happened after Israeli troops shelled one of the government army’s military units, killing one Lebanese soldier.
“This is the first time during the recent escalation that the Lebanese army has opened fire on Israeli troops,” one of the local militants told Reuters.
