A New Chapter in Global Comedy
Ricky Gervais has officially announced his latest stand-up tour, titled ‘Legend,’ which is set to run through 2027. The tour will begin with a series of UK dates starting in September 2026, before expanding into major arenas across Europe and North America.
Netflix has already secured the rights to film the show, continuing a long-standing partnership that has seen Gervais’ previous four specials—Humanity, SuperNature, Armageddon, and Mortality—dominate the streamer’s global charts. This will mark his fifth collaboration with the platform.
Logistics and Charitable Commitment
The initial run of 13 UK dates, including stops in Watford, Manchester, and Birmingham, will go on general sale on June 26, 2026. Gervais has emphasized that this show is his most personal to date, noting, “Because both cancel culture, and most people I knew growing up, are dead, I can really say what the f*** I want now.”
Beyond the performance, the tour maintains the comedian’s commitment to philanthropy. Following his 2025 ‘Mortality’ tour, which raised £2.43 million for animal welfare, Gervais has confirmed that a portion of the proceeds from ‘Legend’ ticket sales will again be donated to charitable causes.
