A 25-year-old male motorcyclist has died following a fatal traffic accident on Seletar West Link in Singapore on Tuesday evening, August 18. According to the Singapore Police Force (SPF), authorities were alerted to the collision involving a car and a motorcycle at approximately 6:45 p.m.

Emergency services, including the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), arrived at the scene shortly after the report. Paramedics were filmed attending to the motorcyclist in the center lane of the road. The victim was transported to Sengkang General Hospital in an unconscious state, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries. A second individual involved in the incident sustained minor injuries but declined hospital treatment.

The accident resulted in significant traffic disruption, with two of the three lanes on Seletar West Link blocked as emergency responders worked. Bystanders were observed assisting with traffic management until authorities arrived. The SPF confirmed that a 57-year-old female driver involved in the accident has been arrested for careless driving causing death. Police investigations into the circumstances of the crash are currently ongoing.
