Next week, the Standing Committees of the National Assembly of Armenia will convene sessions to discuss key legislative initiatives covering social, healthcare, financial, and legal topics.
Session Schedule
- November 25: The Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs will discuss amendments and supplements to the “Law on Cumulative Pensions.”
- November 26: The Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs will review legislative changes related to administrative offenses and the organization of medical assistance.
On the same day, the Standing Committee on Healthcare will also hold its session. - November 27: The Standing Committee on Economic Affairs will convene at 11:00 a.m.
- November 28: The Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs will address amendments to the “Law on Citizenship of the Republic of Armenia” and discuss the “Electoral Code of Armenia” amendments, which passed the first reading during the previous four-day session.
Upcoming discussions will focus on significant legislative amendments to the “Law on Medical Assistance and Service to the Population” and the “Law on Cumulative Pensions,” aimed at systemic reforms.
The Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs will also prioritize the Electoral Code amendments for the second reading.
The next plenary session of the National Assembly is set to begin on December 3.
