On December 10, 2024, the German Ambassador to Armenia, Claudia Busch, participated in a patrol of the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Yeraskh. The EUMM announced the visit on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “We are honored that German Ambassador to Armenia Claudia Busch visited the EU Mission in Armenia. She observed the mission’s activities firsthand and joined the patrol in Yeraskh.”
The EU Monitoring Mission in Armenia was established to enhance stability and security in Armenia’s border regions. Operating under a two-year mandate valid until February 2025, the mission plays a critical role in monitoring and ensuring peace in these areas.
