Khloé Kardashian has once again captured the spotlight, dazzling in a provocative photoshoot by renowned fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth. But it wasn’t just the stunning imagery that drew attention—her candid interview with Bustle revealed deeply personal insights into her struggles and resilience.
Khloé opened up about how she navigated the challenges of her divorce from Lamar Odom in 2016, sharing how a betrayal from her therapist at the time led to a pivotal shift. “During my divorce, I had this nightmare experience where my therapist leaked my secrets to a tabloid. That’s when I quit therapy and started going to the gym,” she revealed. However, her weight loss journey came with its own challenges. “When I was heavier, I thought I was the hottest thing ever. I was so confident. But after losing weight, I started getting criticism—people asking, ‘How dare you?’”
Currently single and embracing her independence, Khloé addressed rumors about rekindling her relationship with basketball star Tristan Thompson, the father of her two children. “I haven’t been dating for about three years, and I genuinely love it. I enjoy my own company,” she said, explaining her caution about dating in the public eye. “Where would I go on a date? I’m not going to a restaurant with paparazzi, and I’m not inviting you to my house because I have kids to protect.”
In discussing her darkest times, Khloé credited her sister Kim Kardashian for being a pillar of support. “Kim has held my hand through so many dark moments, along with my mom. Kim truly became a crusader for me, and I’m so grateful for that relationship,” she shared. Kim also inspired her to return to therapy, a step Khloé now sees as vital for her personal growth.
Khloé also revealed plans for an upcoming podcast that will dive into meaningful topics like healing, trauma, relationships, religion, and even life after loss. “It’s not going to be gossipy. I want to have deep conversations about things that matter,” she said.
