The tree lighting ceremony at Republic Square on the evening of December 8 will feature a fireworks display. This was confirmed to Factor.am by Narek Sargsyan, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
According to the MIA, the company responsible for the fireworks has the required licenses from the Ministry’s Department of Registration and Licensing Services. Additionally, the department has issued specific authorization for the fireworks display at Republic Square.
During the event, police officers from the MIA will ensure public order and safety, while the Rescue Service will be on duty to maintain fire safety protocols.
