ALDI has officially opened its newly renovated store at 190 Clinic Drive in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The move marks the permanent closure of the company’s previous location on Fort Campbell Boulevard, which ceased operations this week.
According to Christian County Now, the new facility spans 12,000 square feet of retail space. Skyler Jones, Regional Vice President at ALDI, stated that the relocation was driven by the need for a more convenient location capable of supporting higher traffic volumes. The site, formerly occupied by an Office Max, has been fully transformed to include an improved floor plan and expanded refrigeration units to accommodate a broader selection of food products.
To mark the opening on June 25, the store hosted a grand opening event featuring the company’s “Golden Ticket” giveaway, where the first 200 customers received gift bags and gift cards. The new store is open to the public daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
This relocation is part of the retailer’s broader national strategy to reach a total of 3,200 stores by the end of 2028. The company confirmed that the updated layout is designed to enhance customer experience through increased inventory capacity and better accessibility.
