UFC 329 returns to Las Vegas tonight as Conor McGregor makes his highly anticipated return to the octagon after a five-year hiatus. The former double-division champion is set to face Max Holloway in a welterweight contest, marking a rematch of their 2013 encounter, which McGregor won by unanimous decision.
As reported by MMA Knockout, all 28 fighters on the card successfully hit the scale during Friday morning’s early weigh-ins. The main event features a significant weight jump for Holloway, who is competing at 170 lbs. for the first time in his career. The Hawaiian fighter, a former “BMF” champion, is looking to rebound following his recent transition from featherweight to lightweight.
For McGregor, the bout represents his first appearance since 2020. His last victory came against Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, a fight he finished in just 40 seconds. The ceremonial weigh-ins and final face-offs are scheduled for 9:00 p.m. ET at the T-Mobile Arena, following a heated exchange between the two headliners during Thursday’s pre-fight press conference.
The event also features a co-main event between Paddy Pimblett and Benoit Saint-Denis. Full coverage of the 14-fight card, including live results and highlights, will be available throughout the weekend.
