Aman Mann, the youth district president of the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) in Panipat, has reported receiving a Rs 2 crore extortion demand from an individual claiming affiliation with the Rohit Godara gang. According to reports from The Tribune, the threat was delivered via a WhatsApp call from an international number on May 23.

Mann, a resident of Bishan Saroop Colony, stated that the caller identified himself as Mahender Delana, a member of the criminal syndicate. The caller threatened to harm Mann’s family if the payment was not made. Although the incident occurred last month, Mann initially chose not to publicize the threat; however, the details surfaced on social media this Saturday, prompting public attention.

Panipat Police have confirmed that a Daily Diary Report (DDR) has been filed regarding the incident. SHO Devender noted that the department is investigating the claims and will initiate formal legal action based on the findings. Mann indicated that he has received similar threatening calls from various foreign numbers on multiple occasions.
