Speaking from the team’s hotel on Burlington Road, Casey reflected on the 11-point win, noting that the squad had been searching for a peak performance throughout the season, which finally materialized in the final. “We saved our best performance to the last day,” Casey told broadcaster Marty Morrissey. When asked about the post-match festivities, Casey admitted to the late-night visit, joking, “We are feeling the worse for it,” while confirming that all players returned home safely.
