A24 has released the full-length trailer for You Can See Everything, a highly anticipated documentary directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. The documentary, which was produced in secret over four years, captures a 34-day period leading up to Holmes’ incarceration for her role in the $9 billion Theranos fraud. The trailer showcases Fielder’s signature probing interview style, with Holmes asserting her innocence and questioning the skepticism of the film crew. Variety reports that the film has a runtime of 174 minutes and will debut at the New York Film Festival on September 30, following a surprise premiere at the Telluride Film Festival.

Critics who saw the film at Telluride describe it as a “psychodrama circus” that blurs the lines between reality television and traditional documentary filmmaking. In her review for The Hollywood Reporter, Angie Han noted that the documentary shifts from an intimate portrait of a “deluded or disingenuous” figure into a more surreal meta-commentary on narrative control. As Holmes is now serving an 11-year prison sentence, the film explores the void left by her absence and the various ways her story continues to be shaped by those around her.
