Singer Nick Jonas has marked the eighth anniversary of his proposal to actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas, sharing a nostalgic throwback photograph from their 2018 engagement in Crete, Greece. The Jonas Brothers star commemorated the milestone on social media with the caption: “8 years ago she said yes.”
Priyanka Chopra reshared the post on her Instagram Stories, adding a personal acknowledgement: “So grateful you asked.” The exchange offered fans a rare glimpse into the private celebration of a relationship that has become a prominent fixture in global entertainment.
The couple’s public history began with a digital introduction. Years before their wedding, Jonas sent a message to Chopra on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “I’ve heard from a few people that we should meet. I have to agree with these people.” The connection was facilitated by actor Graham Rogers, leading to a private correspondence that quickly evolved into a high-profile romance.
Following their July 2018 engagement, the pair held a traditional roka ceremony in Mumbai before hosting a multi-day wedding celebration at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, in December 2018. The wedding gained significant international attention for its fusion of Hindu and Christian traditions.
Beyond their personal life, both continue to balance high-profile professional careers. Priyanka Chopra is currently preparing for the release of the upcoming epic action-adventure film Varanasi, directed by SS Rajamouli, which is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on April 7, 2027. She is also set to reprise her role in the second season of the spy-thriller series Citadel alongside Richard Madden. The couple now resides together with their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, whom they welcomed via surrogacy in January 2022.
