The organization emerged from the remnants of the neo-Nazi group Vanguard America. According to research from the Program on Extremism at George Washington University, the group promotes an ethno-nationalist vision of the United States, advocating for an American identity defined exclusively by white heritage.
While the group has historically focused on anti-immigration and anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric, experts note that they have increasingly sought high-visibility symbolic events to expand their footprint. Internal documents analyzed by media outlets indicate that the organization has expanded its recruitment efforts, now claiming a presence in nearly every U.S. state.
