Kabler, who has personal roots in the Hyannis area, has garnered critical attention for his ability to embody Williams’ physical and vocal mannerisms. Marvin Kitman of New York Newsday previously noted that Kabler remains the closest artistic successor to Williams’ distinct performance style. The show aims to capture the essence of Williams’ career, balancing his comedic absurdity with his more soulful, dramatic work.
The performance, scheduled for 7:00 PM, will be followed on Sunday, July 12, by a screening of the documentary Being Robin, which examines Kabler’s personal journey in adopting the persona and his own experiences with mental health advocacy.
